About me.
Hello and welcome to my personal space within the Internet. I am Carla Pavia, an English into Spanish audiovisual translator from Valencia, Spain.
I’m a trained and certified audiovisual translator who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature (University of Valencia), and a Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Translation: Dubbing, Subtitling and Localization (ISTRAD).
When it comes to my own linguistic experience, I’ve been geeking out over languages since I was a child. And while I’m now managing my own business, I’m still constantly polishing my language skills, attending training courses and traveling all over the world whenever I can.
Since the moment I finished my master’s degree, I have been working in order to make a living doing what I love the most: translating creative content. And I’ve also had the opportunity to be the professional tutor of trainee students at the master’s degrees in audiovisual translation of University of Vigo and University of Granada, both in Spain.
